Our peaberry coffee from Tanzania is a very special coffee. Peaberry coffee is made when the cherry from a coffee plant produces one round bean, rather than two flat sided half beans. These peaberry coffee beans produce an enhanced and deliciously flavorful cup, highlighted by black currant. One of our top single origin gourmet coffees that must be tried.

Ripe Arabica beans (called cherries) are harvested once per year.
Beans are then pulped, washed and dried in the tropical sun.
Dried beans are shipped to our Denver roastery in burlap sacks.
Our Roastmasters roast the beans at high altitude for more flavor.
Then, we bag our beans to keep fresh but still allow for degassing.
